If you have been told that you have cancer and nothing can be done, a second opinion may offer you an important lifeline. A review with Professor Lodge may find that surgery is an option after all, but if not then he will be able to advise you about other possible options.

Although Peter is now no longer seeing private patients, he is available for reviews through the usual NHS referral channels by referral from GPs, oncologists and surgeons to Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

How can a second opinion help?
